A federal grand jury has indicted a man accused of punching a shattering a window on a JetBlue aircraft.
Last month, Robert Ramirez of Hackensack, New Jersey boarded a flight from Orlando International Airport.
Mr Ramirez was upset by the fact he was unable to sit next to his mother and was told by members of the flight crew where to sit, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
Mr Ramirez then punched a window, causing it to detach from the wall of the plane, just as the aircraft pulled away from the gate, federal authorities said.
The aircraft returned to the terminal and the flight was delayed for one hour while the window was replaced.
