To mark the launch of its 10th route and first international service, VietJetAir will run two mega-sales, 5 March and 18 March selling fares for just 50 US cents.
In total, 10,000 tickets will be up for grabs on any of the low-cost carrier’s 10 routes.
VietJetAir’s domestic network now covers Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Vinh, Danang, Hue, Nha Trang, Dalat and Phu Quoc. The airline’s first international route from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok was launched 10 February.
To get the 50 cent one-way fare, passengers have to go on online and click on www.vietjetair.com between 2100 and 2359, 5 March and again on 18 March. They just need a Visa or MasterCard to secure the bookings and make the payments online.
The promotion is valid for flights, 1 April to 10 May and from 5 September until 20 December 2013.
VietJetAir Business Development director, Desmond Lin, said: “After launching 10 routes in little over a year, we felt it was the perfect time to celebrate with another spectacular promotion.”
“We have sustained rapid growth since our first flight took off 24 December 2011 – our extensive network now covers all of Vietnam’s biggest tourism destinations and major economic hubs.
“Our inaugural international flight was obviously a huge milestone — not just for us, but for Vietnam’s private aviation industry. And this is just the beginning. We will launch more international routes and expand the domestic network further during 2013.”
VietJetAir is now the fastest growing airline in Vietnam as well as the country’s largest low-cost carrier. But Lin stresses that VietJetAir meets the highest possible standards of safety and prides itself on its five-star level of service professionalism.
“We prepared for five years before launching this business. We are proud to be a strongly financed and technology-savvy airline with a fleet of brand new Airbus aircraft…. We are backed by some of the world’s leading companied such as Airbus, CyberSource and Singapore International Airlines Engineering Company (SIAEC),” he added.
To support its international expansion in Thailand, VietJetAir appointed QE Tour to cover sales and customer support system in Thailand. Customers in Thailand can call the hotline at +66 22 777 111 for all VietJetAir-related enquiries. The website is also now tri-lingual with options for Vietnamese, Thai and English.
