Malaysia Airlines continues to add to its Australian operations, with an extra two direct services between Brisbane and Kuala Lumpur from five services per week to daily.

Effective 20 June 2013, flight MH134 will depart daily from Brisbane at 11.20pm arriving in Kuala Lumpur at 5.50am the following day, while the return flight, MH135 leaves Kuala Lumpur daily at 9.40am to arrive Brisbane at 7.45pm the same day.

Daily flights will be operated by the carrier’s A330-300 aircraft, adding a total of 1960 seats per week in each direction.

Malaysia Airlines region senior vice president of Australia, New Zealand, South-West Pacific Yap Kiang Thiam said increased frequency is in the line with the carrier’s focus to strengthen its network and competitive edge across the Australasian market.

The announcement comes less than a week after the airline launched its A330-300 aircraft on its Sydney-Kuala Lumpur route.
