First nonstop service between Boston and Panama, with connections throughout Central and South America and the Caribbean
Boston is Copa Airlines’ eighth U.S. destination; airline now offers service to 65 destinations in 29 countries
Copa Airlines has begun daily nonstop service between Boston Logan International Airport and Copa’s Hub of the Americas at Tocumen International Airport in Panama, Republic of Panama, with connecting service throughout Latin America.
“Until now, Boston was the largest U.S. market without nonstop service to Latin America,” said Pedro Heilbron, CEO, Copa Airlines. “We’re very proud to provide business and leisure travelers the only daily nonstop service between Boston and Panama, as well as unsurpassed connectivity throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.”
In Panama passengers can make quick connections to 64 other destinations in Central, South and North America and the Caribbean. The flight also offers Copa passengers convenient access to Boston, one of the U.S.’ most important academic, business, cultural and historical destinations.
The flight departs Panama daily at 11:46 a.m., arriving in Boston at 6:16 p.m. The return flight will depart Boston Logan daily at 9:54 a.m., arriving at Copa’s Hub of the Americas in Panama at 2:28 p.m. Copa is operating a Boeing Next-Generation 737-700 aircraft on the flight, with seating for 12 passengers in Business Class and 112 in the main cabin.
Local NZ Representative, Discover the World’s Chris Jones also wishes to remind all Agents that Copa Airlines has joined NZ BSP and all IATA Agents have been activated, meaning any Copa flights can be issued on Copa E Ticket Stock.
