Tigerair’s inaugural flight to Kalibo, gateway to the beautiful island of Boracay, departed Singapore today at 12.25pm on DG8803.
Offering three weekly flights, Tigerair is the only budget carrier to offer a direct Singapore-Kalibo call. To make the trip even smoother for travellers, Tigerair has also launched its new Tiger Transfer service.
Visitors to Boracay can purchase Tiger Transfer passes for an affordable PHP500 (or SGD$15), at Tigerair’s check-in counters at Kalibo International Airport or aboard the Singapore-Kalibo flight, to enjoy a seamless transfer service straight to their hotels on Boracay island from Kalibo airport. The transfer includes a scenic bus ride (1hr – 1.5 hrs) to Caticlan and a boat ride (10-15 minutes) to Boracay island.
In conjunction with the launch, Tigerair is offering promotional Singapore-Kalibo flights for as low as SGD65 for bookings made between 18 July and 22 July. The promotional fare excludes taxes and other charges, and is valid for travel from 18 July 2013 through 31 March 2014.
