A Japan Airlines 787 Dreamliner flight was forced to return to its departure destination, following a possible fuel pump problem.
The Japan Airlines flight was flying from Boston’s Logan Airport to Tokyo’s Narita Airport, the Telegraph reported.
The flight returned to Boston “as a standard precautionary measure” to check out a maintenance message indicator showing a possible issue with the fuel pump, Japan Airlines spokeswoman Carol Anderson said.
The flight landed safely and was cancelled, with passengers being boarded on alternate flights.
This is the latest incident in a long line of problems suffered by aircraft manufacturer Boeing when it comes to its 787 Dreamliner.
