Tigerair celebrates one year Sudney base anniversary

SYDNEY - Since Tigerair opened its Sydney base last July, the airline has created more than 150 jobs in New South Wales and launched six new routes connecting Sydneysiders with popular destinations like Gold Coast, Brisbane, Mackay, Coffs Harbour, Alice Springs, and Cairns - in the process, enabling more people to travel domestically more often, across Australia.
“July has certainly been a month of celebrations for Tigerair Australia with our recent brand relaunch, the finalisation of the joint venture with Virgin Australia and our Sydney base first birthday,” said Carly Brear, Tigerair Australia Commercial Director.
To celebrate the Sydney base first anniversary this month, Tigerair Australia features all seven Sydney routes on sale from midday today until midday tomorrow, for travel in the month of August.
