MUMBAI - Magic Holidays, a leading player in the timeshare vacations sector in India, announced its aggressive growth plans during a select media meet this afternoon. Mr. Hitesh Kshatriya, Chief Operating Officer of the Panoramic Group, which owns Magic Holidays outlined the group expansion model and spoke at length about the timeshare industry and its growing relevance in India. He stressed on the fact that the company’s growth is driven by strategic plans and a consistent, focused approach that concentrates on giving customers the best of holidays.

“We are conscious about our customers’ dynamic needs and strive to over-deliver their expectations. One of the main things that we have in mind when it comes to our growth plans is that we are targeting a number of 100 resorts in the next Five years. What makes Magic Holidays unique is that all the resorts under our portfolio are owned & operated by the group and this adds to the element of trust associated with us,” said Mr. Kshatriya. Magic Holidays currently owns almost 37 properties in India and abroad and they plan to add one resort a month in India and one abroad every quarter to their existing bouquet of properties.

Magic Holidays has opened a resort in Gir, Gujarat recently. The Vanvaso Gir Resort is located on the banks of the Hiran river and it features 24 well-appointed garden and river facing cottages. The resort also has facilities like swimming pool, sauna, banquet and conference halls. In addition to this, special activities like safaris and cultural programmes can be arranged on request.

Mr. Kshatriya mentioned that Gujaratis occupy a sizeable chunk on their memberships and spoke at length about the importance of Gujarat as a market. “Gujaratis have always been famous for their business acumen and their food. However these days they’re also gaining popularity for being well-travelled. Gujarati travelers are in demand because of their wanderlust nature and willingness to explore new places. These travelers account for almost 40% of the international traffic and a larger number when it comes to the domestic circuit. The reason is that they have a high disposable income, are travel savvy, love to travel in groups and take precautions to ensure that food or language isn’t a barrier.”

The Panoramic Group has recently acquired resorts in Lonavala, Kollam and Hyderabad.

Mr. Kshatriya also spoke about the relevance of timeshare in today’s world. “As the costs of living go up, investing in a timeshare vacation makes more sense. This ensures that your vacation cost does not go sky-high every year and large network of properties allows you to take that much-needed sheer break in the midst of a stress-filled routine,” added Mr. Kshatriya while elaborating that the company has several timeshare plans to cater to different categories of customers.

The company’s promise of ‘Unforgettable Times’, which is an integral part of the repositioning, seeks to provide customers with a holiday experience like never before that will keep them coming back for more such magical moments. This promise comes along with the assurance of affordable and flexible holidays supplemented with assured booking of holidays in some of the best locations in India and abroad.
