BEIJING - Kempinski's largest resort, set on 14-square-kilometre grounds in Yanqi Lake, Beijing, a project backed by Beijing Enterprises Group Company Limited, begins mass talent hunt on their Recruitment Day on Saturday 22 February 2014 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the ballroom of sister property Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center.

Department heads will conduct on-site interviews to fill over 700 full-time and part-time positions. Salaries are benched up to 8% above market rate and attractively packaged with comfortable housing as well as recreational and entertainment facilities.

This one-of-a-kind development comprises 14 hotels, 14 restaurants and bars, as well as 14,069 square metres of conference facilities, spa, marina, Kids Club, and an 18-hole Gary Player-designed golf course. The resort will also serve as host venue for global summits and international conferences - no doubt, employees will have a balance of fun and positive challenges amidst a professional European environment. After all, opening a property of this size, combined with its European service culture and horizontal management system, does not happen frequently.

Brice Pean, General Manager of the resort says, "Our distinction is that Kempinski is the oldest luxury hotel company in Europe - we are 117 years old this year. History and heritage is what Kempinski delivers to our guests. Kempinski's European heritage is a signature guarantee of our service and product quality."

Opening a property this size brings employees an abundance of opportunity for growth, and long-term career progression. Kempinski is fully committed to developing their talents, to ensure that a spirit of ownership and innovation is instilled in each and every one of their team members.

"We base our candidate selection on Kempinski's DNA - Candidates who are 'People Oriented', 'Straightforward', show 'Entrepreneurship', have the ability to 'Create Traditions' and have a 'Passion for European Tradition'. We are looking for applicants with talent and a positive attitude. We can then develop and equip them with the skills to deliver Kempinski's brand promise which is 'Remarkable European Flair'," says Pean.

Positions are available in all departments including Sales & Marketing, Front Office, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Public Relations, People Services, Finance, Engineering, IT and Purchasing.

Pean adds, "New staff members will enjoy learning about Kempinski's European culture and tradition, while working and living with a family of colleagues, in a unique destination with beautiful views of the lake, natural gardens, and mountains."
