Skal meets in Bangkok

Skal International, the largest association of tourism professionals has reconfirmed it will hold its executive committee and International Skål Council in Bangkok at the end of this week.
The president of Skal said the decision was a show of support for Thailand’s travel industry just days after a military coup.
Skal veteran, Andrew Wood posted details of the statement from Skal on his facebook page, Tuesday, saying the president, Karine Coulanges and members of the executive board wanted to show support during difficult times.
Mr Wood commented: “Thailand was experiencing the greatest support by the continued interest in travelling to the kingdom.”
Tourism Authority of Thailand is hosting the annual TTM Plus, 4 to 6 January in Bangkok and reports a full complement of buyers and sellers booked into matched appointments.
