Le Meridien on a golf course

Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok Golf Resort & Spa is set to make its debut in September on a golf course close to Bangkok’s international airport.
Owned by Summit Windmill Corporation, the property will be the first Le Méridien golf resort in Asia Pacific, with a professional course designed by golfing legend Nick Faldo.
The hotel is located on what Bangkok residents know as Summit Windmill Golf Course, a 15-minute drive from Suvarnabhumi International Airport and a 40-minute drive to the city centre.
It is located close to the Bangna-Trad Road at Km 10.5, and the elevated highway that connects to the main highway to Pattaya and Rayong.
One of the largest shopping malls in Southeast Asia, MEGA Bangna, is another attraction close by and for exhibition visitors Bangkok International Trade is also within 10 km distance.
Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok Golf Resort & Spa will have 223 rooms, including 22 suites and one presidential suite. All rooms will have balconies with uninterrupted views of the golf course.
The hotel features 740-square metres of meeting and function space to accommodate conferences, weddings and other large gatherings.
Golfers will enjoy playing a round of golf at the resort’s premier 18-hole golf course, Summit Windmill Golf Club, day or night due to the course’s floodlit setting.
Package deals
To celebrate the opening, the hotel is offering an introductory package, ‘Discovery Awaits’, which features breakfast for two; in-room high speed internet access and roundtrip airport shuttle service. Rates start from THB4,333+++ per room for a grand deluxe room. The package is available for stays 1 September to 31 March 2015.
Bangkok Golf Vacation ‘Bangkok Golf Vacation’ package has a starting price of THB6,100+++, and includes breakfast for one person; a daily round of golf per person, including the caddie fee; and late check-out at 1600 (subject to availability). The package is valid 1 September to 31 March 2015.
