The airline does not charge additional fees for offering the ticket sales service.

The airline CEO, Nadda Buranasiri, said Thai AirAsia X has gone the extra mile to offer passengers more choices and freedom to customise their travel experience.
“During the airline’s six months operations, we found that most of our passengers are a connected generation, or new generation who love to plan their travel programme.”
He said: “We are the first airline to partner with major transportation providers and offer tickets to local attractions onboard which will certainly be an advantage for our passengers who can now maximise their time at the destination by avoiding ticket queues.”
Passengers travelling to Japan will be able to use the tickets to connect from the airport to downtown Tokyo and Osaka, while enjoying popular tourist attractions such as Universal Studios Japan or the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan.
Apart from the high-speed train from Narita airport to Nippori and Ueno station, an ordinary seven-day JR rail pass will also be available on board.
Passengers flying to Osaka can also purchase airport limousine bus tickets from Kansai International Airport to Osaka Station along with tickets to Osaka’s famous attractions such Universal Studios Japan where Harry Potter fans can experience the latest attraction—The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The service also includes Japan’s second largest aquarium, Kaiyukan.
The Sky Ticket services will be launched on flights from Bangkok to Japan starting from 1 December. The airline does not add any fees for the service, but it will make a commission from the suppliers.
About 55% of the airline passengers on Japan routes are Thais while 45% are Japanese.
This year the airline has launched direct flights from Bangkok to Seoul, Tokyo and Osaka with two Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
Thai AirAsia X is scheduled to receive its third aircraft in March 2015 to increase frequency between Bangkok and Narita to double daily flights and Bangkok to Osaka to daily flights starting on 26 March next year.
