Jetstar adds Bangkok service

HANOI  Budget carrier Jetstar Pacific will launch a daily flight connecting Hanoi and Bangkok starting 29 March next year.
The new daily service will use a 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft.
The flight will depart Hanoi at 1225 and arrive in Bangkok at 1415. The return flight will depart Bangkok at 1535 and arrive in Hanoi at 1725.
Inside no.4The additional route will follow on from the launch of a Ho Chi Minh-Bangkok daily service due to be introduced 10 December.
The airline general director, Le Hong Ha, said Thailand and Vietnam are fast-growing tourism markets in Southeast Asia.
“We want to expand and offer more links in Jetstar Group’s low-cost network and offer more choices for passengers flying to Thailand and Vietnam.”
Currently, the airline serves Hanoi, Danang, Vinh, Haiphong, Buon Ma Thuot, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc and Hue.
The Jetstar Group operates 3,000 flights a week to 64 destinations and during 2013 carried 23 million passengers.
Jetstar Group is made up of Jetstar Airways in Australia and New Zealand (subsidiary of the Qantas Group), Jetstar Asia, Jetstar Pacific in Vietnam, Jetstar Japan in Japan and from 2013 Jetstar Hong Kong.
