India’s International Travel and Tourism Exhibition returns for its 2nd edition on 15–17 January 2015

The IITT event is a platform where travel trade professionals, government ministers and international press can assess the Indian travel market; network with existing and new clients, as well as conduct and conclude deals for the following tourism season.

The IITT 2015 inauguration ceremony will welcome top bureaucrats from India’s Ministry of Tourism and other international dignitaries from the travel and tourism industry. Furthermore, the ‘Queen’ of Bollywood, actress Kangana Ranawat will be in attendance.

Visitors at IITT 2015 will be able to discuss travel offers with the featured international destinations Israel Tourism and Oman Tourism, as well as featured national destinations, Bihar Tourism and Madhya Pradesh Tourism, amongst others. Qatar Airways, Oman Air and Etihad Airways will be present as the show’s featured airlines.

In 2014, the IITT event was awarded as the “Best Emerging Expo of 2014” by the Indian Travel Awards, West Zone. In continuation to last year’s success, the IITT 2015 event is set to welcome national tourism boards, tour operators, hotel chains, aviation groups, cruise liners, destination management companies and many more.

IITT 2015 exhibitors include well-known companies, such as: Makemy trip, Yatra.com, Ark holidays, Udaan, Forerez.com, Travelbullz, Ottilla, Tamarind Tours, Rezlive.com, E Travel Online, Clarks Exotica, Zaka Group, Oberoi Group, Fortune Group, The Lalit Group, Starwood Group and many more. India, as a destination, will have a strong presence with the following states represented: Assam, Telangana, Rajasthan, Bengal, Kerela and Andhra Pradesh Tourism.

The event is partnered with NDTV Good Times, India’s first and leading lifestyle channel. Turkey Tourism will be welcomed as the Platinum Partner; Kuwait Airlines - Silver Partner; Tamilnadu Tourism- State Partner; Lavasa Corporation Ltd - Smart City Partner; and Grand Hyatt as the Hospitality Partner for the show.

This year, IITT’s Hosted Buyer Programme has invited over 200+ travel buyers from 40 countries. These buyers will attend to explore potential business opportunities in the Indian travel market. Furthermore, IITT’s Online Business Matchmaking Programme provides an added advantage for both exhibitors and visitors to arrange meetings before the show commences.

The first two days of the exhibition will be open to trade visitors only, wherein the first day, the show will conclude with a Gala Networking Reception. The third and final day of the event will be open for end consumers.
