VN tourism promotes on YouTube

HANOI  Vietnam National Administration of Tourism will run tourism advertisements on YouTube space.
The promotiosn can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/c/vietnamtourismmedia.
According to the VNAT, the videos will promote the country to domestic and international visitors and offer update and promotional programmes including sanitized news on tourism.
Viewers will be able to make comments and offer opinions on Vietnam’s tourist attractions as well as make suggestions for the VNAT on how to improve the YouTube service.
Inside no.2VNAT calls it a channel that will reach consumers and support the agency’s websites. Websites under VNAT that promote tourism comprise of: www.vietnamtourism.com; www.vietnamtourism.gov.vn; www.vietnamtourism-info.com; www.vietnam-tourism.com; www.dulichvn.org.vn.
YouTube’s free service will be exploited to present Vietnam as a safe, friendly and exciting destination to lure more holidaymakers to the country.
In 2014, Vietnam welcomed 7.87 million foreign visitors and 38.5 domestic tourists. Total revenue from the tourism industry hit a record high of USD10.9 billion last year, up 15% compared to the same period in 2013.
The sector has set a target of 8.5 million foreign tourists and 41 million domestic tourists, earning USD12.69 billion in 2015.
