Stage show presents Muay Thai

BANGKOK The stage show Muay Thai Live: The Legend Lives is back as a “double-bill” edition combining the stage show and live Muay Thai fights.
By offering live Muay Thai bouts in addition to a stage show, the organisers claim this is the ultimate Thai Boxing experience in Thailand combining entertainment, culture, drama and real Thai boxing.
“Our goal is to offer a one-stop Muay Thai experience for audiences to learn more about the history of one of Thailand’s greatest gifts to the world. Besides the double-bill stage show and real live fighting, we also have an additional Muay Thai Museum planned,” said, of Thai Show 2013 Company, managing director Viwan Karnasuta.
“We will continue to offer Muay Thai lessons by professionals including a summer camp for children, similar to last year. As such we will be setting up a Muay Thai Academy this August to serve boxing enthusiasts as a form of art as well as exercise.”

Created by internationally acclaimed director Ekachai Uekrongtham, the spectacular live show featuring genuine Muay Thai fights and breathtaking stunts.
The drama tells the story of the origins and heroes of Muay Thai, spanning 300 years, from the past to present day.
The stage show is now open and performing nightly except Mondays, from 2000 to 2100, at the Stage located within Asiatique.
Seats cost THB1,200 to THB1,500. There are group deals for travel agencies as well as special deals posted on the show’s website.
