Accor brings Ibis brand to Singapore

SINGAPORE  Accor will launch its Ibis brand in Singapore with the opening of Ibis Styles Singapore on MacPherson, set for the last quarter of this year.
Located on the corner of MacPherson and Aljunied Road, the ibis Styles hotel complex is part of MacPherson shopping mall.
The hotel will feature a 25-metre free-form swimming pool on the fourth floor overlooking the greenery of MacPherson Road.
Ibis Styles will feature 298 rooms, a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, a pool bar and a gym.
inside no 6It will take around 20 minutes to transfer by taxi from Changi Airport and the hotel will provide a free shuttle service for easy access to Singapore’s shopping, nightlife and attractions.
“We are very excited to bring the ibis Styles brand to Singapore,” said hotel general manager, Shamila Rolfe. “This is the perfect brand for Singapore, today, because it offers modern interiors, affordable comfort and a bright and energetic design that matches the vibrancy of the Lion City.
The hotel is owned by LVND Hotels, a consortium made up of Lian Huat Group, Nobel Design Holdings and 2E Capital, who chose the ibis Styles brand because of its strong design appeal and affordable offering.
“We are confident that Accor will bring strong international experience to this hotel and feel that ibis Styles is the perfect fit for this vibrant and upcoming location,” said Lian Huat Group managing director.
