Minor makes major award swoop

BANGKOK  Minor Hotel Group has bagged a haul of TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence awards.
Now in its fifth year, the award celebrates excellence in hospitality and is given only to approximately 10% of establishments listed on TripAdvisor that consistently achieve great traveller reviews on the site.
Minor Hotel Group scooped 70 Certificate of Excellence awards across its Anantara, PER AQUUM, AVANI, Oaks, Elewana and Tivoli brands, which included properties in Asia, the Indian Ocean, Australia, the Middle East, Africa and South America.
When selecting Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor uses a proprietary algorithm to determine the honorees that takes into account the quality, quantity and relevance of reviews and opinions submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period.
inside no 5In addition to the Certificate of Excellence awards, 30 Minor Hotel Group properties, across multiple brands and regions, were invited into TripAdvisor’s “Hall of Fame”, a special designation launched this year to celebrate the awards fifth anniversary and awarded to businesses that have earned a Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years. These winners consist of only 2% of businesses on TripAdvisor. To qualify as a ‘Hall of fame’ winner, a business must have won the award in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
