Starwood opens first Four Points beachfront resort in Indonesia

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide today announced the signing of Four Points by Sheraton Bintan, Lagoi Bay with PT Alam Bintan Lestari, marking the first Four Points beachfront resort in Indonesia.

Located on the northern coastline of Bintan Island facing the South China Sea, Four Points Bintan, Lagoi Bay is a new-build hotel scheduled to open mid-2018.

The property joins Starwood’s portfolio of 14 properties nationwide under its Sheraton, Westin, Le Méridien, St. Regis, W Hotels and The Luxury Collection brands.

Located on a site with a beach frontage spanning nearly 165 meters, the hotel is part of the Lagoi Bay mixed-use development, a new integrated resort destination spanning 1,300 acres on the northern end of Bintan.

Four Points by Sheraton Bintan, Lagoi Bay will feature 308 guest rooms, including 17 suites and 8 villas. Rooms will range from 28 to 120 square meters in size and will feature the amenities like the signature Four Points Bed.

The resort will also offer the brand’s signature Best Brews™ program, highlighting the best local draft beers. Other facilities will include 800 square meters of function spaces, as well as a pool, fitness centre, gift shop, spa and business centre. Free Wi-Fi, bottled water, and signature breakfast with fresh coffee are included.
