HONG KONG  Hong Kong Disneyland Resort rewarded customers of its travel trade partners with a freeze experience to fend off the summer heat this June.
The snowy magic was part of a cool summer experience courtesy of Disney’s Queen Elsa and the enchanting “Frozen” Village based on the animated blockbuster movie.
More than 1,000 guests from China, Southeast Asia and Taiwan joined specially tailored group tours or FIT packages designed by the resort and its travel trade partners to enjoy the experience of the “Frozen” Village throughout the month of June.
“The animated blockbuster ‘Frozen’ captured the imagination of fans, worldwide, since its premiere. All the ‘Frozen’-themed entertainment, souvenirs and food and beverage items introduced in Hong Kong Disneyland Resort have been hugely popular with ‘Frozen’ fans,” said, Hong Kong and International, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort travel trade sales director Martin Leung.
inside no 7“To take the ‘Frozen’ experience to another level, the resort worked with travel trade partners to tailor-make dedicated ‘Frozen’ tours and travel packages that immersed guests in the coolest summer they’ve ever experienced.”
The “Frozen” Village, delivers a snow fun in summer from now until 30 August. It joins more than 100 attractions and entertainment in seven themed areas.
Since the grand opening in September 2005, Hong Kong Disneyland has welcomed more than 50 million guests worldwide.
