AHMS makes new appointments

BANGKOK  AHMS, a collection of boutique hotels, has announced four key appointments ahead of upcoming property launches in new markets, Chiang Mai and Cambodia, and its recent debut of its Italics restaurant brand.
The group has hired Mark Eletr as group general manager. He has extensive operational experience through his years in the hospitality industry, launching his career in food and beverage in Australia at North Queensland’s Green Island Resort on the Great Barrier Reef.
He was general manager of Anantara Rasanda Koh Phangan Villa Resort & Spa, before being promoted to cluster general manager for Anantara in Abu Dhabi, overseeing three resorts for the group on Sir Bani Yas Island.

French national, Thomas Dazard, has been appointed corporate finance manager, having worked for five years at Ernst & Young in Europe and a further three years with French-headquartered global IT group Atos.
Naruedol ‘Doi’ Ruangsawad has joined AHMS as its chief accountant after an eight-year stint at Ernst & Young (Thailand).
Pattana ‘Bik’ Waithayanon is the group’s new sales director. She has more than 15 years experience in sales and marketing. Her most recent position was director of sales at the Swissotel Resort Phuket, following five years as assistant director of sales at Le Méridien Chiang Rai.
The group will soon launch its Akyra Manor Chiang Mai and AKARYN Retreat Koh Krabey, Cambodia, following on from the recent debut of the Italics restaurant brand, a contemporary Italian dining experience in Bangkok and soon to be introduced at Akyra Manor Chiang Mai.
