Wanda Hotels & Resorts kicks off its 2015 roadshow in Beijing

BEIJING - Wanda Hotels & Resorts has embarked on its annual roadshow with a glittering opening event at Sofitel Wanda Beijing. More than 200 industry players, including corporate buyers and business leaders, attended the event, which included a travel mart and an evening "appreciation dinner". During the function, the senior management of Wanda Hotels & Resorts shared the latest news and developments of the hotel group, and thanked all the guests for their generous support.

Among the attendees was the full portfolio of Wanda self-managed hotels, the two International Resort Complexes in Changbai Mountain and Xishuangbanna, Wanda Reign hotels in Shanghai, Chengdu and Wuhan, plus a host of other properties located in Shenyang, Nanning, Kunming, Hohhot, Harbin, Tai'an, Dalian, Nanjing, Wuxi and other popular tourist destinations.

Since the inception of Wanda Hotels & Resorts in 2012, the brand has been developing rapidly. By the end of 2015, Wanda Hotels & Resorts will own 84 five-star hotels across China, and 46 wholly owned and managed hotels, each showcasing its signature spirit of hospitality: "Consistently providing hospitality from the heart".

This December, Wanda Reign Chengdu will open its doors as the second property under the Reign brand, after Wanda Reign Wuhan. Chengdu is a city steeped in history and culture, the ideal setting for Wanda's most premium luxury brand, which is now set to revitalise the local hospitality industry.

In September, Wanda International Resort Complex was unveiled in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province including the first resort launched under the Wanda Vista brand, Wanda Vista Resort Xishuangbanna. Inspired by the unique local cultural landscape, the resort complex has created an outstanding vacation experience enhanced by a rich offering of resort activities and facilities, and has elevated Xishuangbanna to a world-class destination.

At the travel mart, guests had the opportunity to appreciate the traditional culture and craftsmanship of local Beijing artists with the spectacular drum performance in particular winning great applause.
