This includes ATM cash withdrawals, purchases at merchant terminals, and online purchases. Visa credit cards and Visa debit cards will be available August 19.

All ANZ Royal cards will remain valid for up to 12 months following the transition until they are gradually phased out and replaced by J Trust Royal branded cards. ANZ Royal will put on hold the issuing of new Visa credit and debit cards on July 31, according to the statement.

Mobile top-ups will be disabled on August 2 while electricity bill payments will follow suit on August 9.

Before users can access J Trust Royal internet banking, however, they will need to update their mobile phone number and receive a new customer identification number. After the transition they will no longer require a physical token to access J Trust Royal internet banking, which will use digital tokens, it said.
