In a bid to strengthen its position in Asia, Kenya Airways has signed a new code share agreement with China Eastern. The agreement will allow China Eastern to place its code on Kenya Airways daily flights between Bangkok and Nairobi, while KQ will be added to China Eastern services between Bangkok and Shanghai, People’s Daily Online reported. Kenya Airways chief executive Titus Naikuni said better connections between the two destinations give the carrier more opportunity to meet customer demands for seamless connections to China. Earlier this year the African carrier released plans to increase its number of Chinese destinations from two to six. |
