EXCLUSIVE: Sneak peek at Air Pacific new A330 in Brisbane

 Brisbane’s travel industry enjoyed the first  sneak peek of Fiji Airways’ new A330, in the airline’s new stunning and very Fijian colours, livery and branding, with Brisbane being the first port of call for the first of three new A330’s for the airline, which will change its name and livery from Air Pacific to Fiji Airways in June.

Air Pacific/Fiji Airways general manager commercial Aubrey Swift was introduced by the airline’s regional general manager Australia, Andrew Stanbury, with Mr Swift in his presentation saying that the airline was delighted to be presenting the company’s new aircraft to the trade and its partners for the first time in Australia and in Brisbane, a very important port for the airline, during what is a very exciting time for future of Air Pacific/Fiji Airways.  To hear what Mr Swift had to say about Fiji Airways, its new aircraft and the company click here.

Tourism Fiji’s chief executive Rick Hamilton was also at the launch and he highlighted the importance of the new aircraft and the airline’s livery to the international branding of Fiji and the ability to now provide quality airline service to access Fiji, especially important in Fiji’s new international markets and to hear what Mr Hamilton had to say about Fiji Airways’ new aircraft and its impact on tourism to Fiji, click here.

Fiji’s vitally important hotel sector was represented at the arrival event by Tourism Fiji board member and managing director of Starwood Hotels and Resorts’ properties in Fiji, Shane Cunning, who also praised the airline for its work in positioning Fiji as a quality destination right from the moment travellers board the new aircraft and to hear what Mr Cunning had to say click here.
