Singapore Airlines, SilkAir customers can enjoy more of Changi with Transit Programme extended

The popular Changi Transit Programme, offering Singapore Airlines and SilkAir customers transiting through Singapore S$40 worth of Changi Dollar Vouchers (CDVs) per ticket, has been extended to 31 December 2013. This means that customers can continue to enjoy all that the world’s best airport has to offer, with the vouchers eligible for one-time use at over 450 retail, food and service outlets throughout the transit and public areas of Changi Airport.

The Changi Transit Programme has proven extremely popular with Australian customers since it began in October 2012, with the value of the CDVs originally doubled to S$40 in January 2013.

To qualify for the CDVs, customers must travel on Singapore Airlines or SilkAir on both their inbound and outbound flights, with a 13-digit e-ticket receipt number beginning with 618 or 629.

Singapore Airlines’ Regional Vice President South West Pacific, Subhas Menon, said, “Due to the immense popularity of the Changi Transit Programme with our Australian customers, we have decided to partner with Changi Airport Group to extend this incredible offer. It will allow our customers even more opportunity to explore the best of Changi Airport or unwind in between their Singapore Airlines and SilkAir flights.

“We are constantly looking for ways in which we can enhance the travel experience for our customers and, although travelling through Changi Airport is already world-class, the Changi Transit Programme provides the perfect complement to make the journey even more memorable.”

To collect their CDVs, eligible customers should present both their electronic ticket and boarding pass of their Singapore-bound flight at the Changi Transit Programme Voucher Redemption Counters, which are located within the iShop Online Booth near the transit GST Refund counters at both Terminal 2 and 3. The CDVs are issued while stocks last and will expire on 31 March 2014.
