South France Floods left Tourists Strangled and Hurts Tourism

South France Floods has strangled tourists in the area and its effecting Tourism. South France floods have swept through major tourism area of the France.

South France region's worst flood in 200 years has turned roads of Draguignan between Marseille and Monaco into six feet high rivers. Heavy rains made water level to rise within hours causing floods which gave people no time to flee to some safe location. So far 19 people have died and 12 are missing. Authorities have not ruled out rise in the causalities numbers.

Floods has left several tourists stuck in supermarkets, trains etc. High-speed train from Nice to Lille was stuck with 350 tourists on board. Famous tourists destination of South France - Frejus was also hit by floods leaving hundreds of tourists strangled, they were later taken to the four shelters by inflatable boats and by helicopter airlift. Tourists were trapped mainly in the campsite along the Argens River.

Since the region in very popular tourist destination, authorities fears death of some foreign tourists. Floods has also hit the tourism industry of France, there has been reports of cancellations, by Hotels in Nice, Marseille and several towns in the region. There is a chaos situation for the tourists in the region, they are stuck in supermarkets, car parks unsure of what to do. Several trains are also strangled due to floods leaving more tourists strangled.
