Australian federal government on Monday announced that it will spend $30 million on campaign to lure more Chinese tourists Down Under.
Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has used a visit by Chinese Vice-President Xi Jinpeng to talk up the potential of Chinese tourism to the Australian economy.
"China is expected to emerge as Australia's number one source market for international visitors in the next few years," Mr. Rudd said in a statement.
