Radisson Blu team selection

Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok, scheduled to open mid February 2014, introduced its pre-opening team,Thursday.
It named Peter Schuler as general manager, a respected veteran of in the Radisson group since 1996. He comes from a food and beverage background having started his hotel career in the kitchens and later as an executive chef.
In 2005, he was appointed GM of Radisson SAS Martinez Hotel Beirut and later as GM at Radisson SAS Hotel Astana.
Prior to taking up his current role in Bangkok, he was responsible for the pre-opening of Park Plaza Beijing West, also a Carlson Rezidor hotel.
The group also named Steven Ang as its executive assistant manager – sales & marketing.
A specialist in hospitality in Asia, Steven started his career with the inbound tour operator Holiday Tours & Travel in Malaysia.
He moved to hotel industry sales with appointments at Renaissance Sandakan Hotel Sabah, Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort Kota Kinabalu and Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
