COLOMBIA - Colombia and China Sign Tourism Agreement

On Wed. in Peking, and with an aim toward continuing to make Colombia a world class destination, Colombia's Trade, Industry and Tourism Minister Luis Guillermo Plata and China's National Tourism Admininstration Director Shao Qiwei signed a memorandum of intent related to tourism. The agreement will allow Colombia's embassy and consulates in China to simplify the visa request process for groups of tourists from China. To achieve this aim, China will designate a group of travel agencies which will be the only ones authorized to process these requests.
