Tourism boost for Egypt

Vigorous campaigning on Australian television, bus sides, magazines and newspapers have proved successful for Egypt after a 17.8 percent increase in Australian visitors for the first half of this year compared to the previous year.
The ads from the Egyptian Tourism Authority are made up of six mysterious attractions in Egypt and exciting activities were exposed in the images with the new logo and slogan.
"The Australian market has high potential for growth and ETA will continue to attract Australian visitors with continuous and various PR and marketing activities," Egyptian Tourism Authority Tourism Counsellor of Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, Mr Ibrahim Khalil said.
