PATA sells White Label data

BANGKOK Pacific Asia Travel Association signed off on an agreement to provide Tourism Malaysia with a white-label date service branded TMmPOWER, but powered in the background by the PATAmPower software tool.
It claims to aggregate travel data enabling intelligent insights for its users.
The agreement was signed during the World Travel Market in London, Monday, 3 November, by Dato’ Haji Azizan Noordin, deputy director general, Tourism Malaysia, with Martin Craigs out-going PATA CEO, who tendered his resignation from PATA late September.

PATA CEO Mario Hardy said: “PATA and Tourism Malaysia have a long history of working together… most recently at the very successful PATA Hub City Forum in Kuala Lumpur in October this year.”
“Tourism Malaysia’s initiatives are in line with PATA NextGen activities, which is why we are especially pleased and excited to be partnering in the development of TMmPOWER. This will enable tourism professionals to access data and make analytic-based decisions to Malaysia is the first NTO to buy the PATAmPOWER application that will allow it to white label \and package data under its own brand.”
The white label product is called TMmPOWER, which will be presented by Tourism Malaysia as its own researched data.
