BANGKOK  SpiceRoads has developed a range of cycle tours that coincide with long weekend holidays in Asia.
Named Pop Up tours they are primarily created for riders living in Asia who are interested in cycling trips during public holidays that span weekends and require minimum time off work.
SpiceRoads CEO, Struan Robertson, said: “These tours have been designed specifically for adventurous people who are time poor. All destinations are great places to cycle, interesting culturally and are easy to get to!”

Angkor Explorer – A three-day tour cycling among a thousand years of Khmer history at the temples of Angkor. Dates: 3 to 5 April (Easter). Fly to: Siem Reap.
Mekong Delta – A four-day adventure to explore the overflowing life of Vietnam’s “rice bucket” while biking and boating along the Mekong tributaries. Dates: 3 to 6 April (Easter), 11 to 14 April (Songkran). Fly to: Saigon / Ho Chin Minh City.
Sri Lanka Heritage – A seven-day adventure through rural Sri Lanka visiting five UNESCO World Heritage sites. Dates: 12 to 18 April (Songkran). Fly to: Colombo.
Red River Delta by Bike and Boat – A three-day tour from green paddies formed by silt laden waters of Vietnam’s Red River to the jungle of Cuc Phuong National Park. Dates: 3 to 5 April (Easter), 3 to 5 May (May public holidays). Fly to: Hanoi.
Cycling Cambodia’s Pepper Route – A four-day tour to explore Cambodian’s unspoilt rural life, Khmer temples and peaceful beaches in a region famous for its pepper. Dates: 11 to 14 April (Songkran). Fly to: Phnom Penh.
Bali Mountain Biking Adventure – A seven-day off-road adventure rid exploring Batur crater, canyons, rice paddies and beaches. Dates: 12 to 18 April (Songkran). Fly to: Denspasar.
Luang Prabang Adventure – A four-day ride through the countryside cycling along dirt roads through a part of Asia that appears untouched from most of the modern world. Dates: 2 to 5 May (Labour Day public holidays). Fly to: Luang Prabang.
