SAN FRANCISCO  Predictions for the the upcoming holiday peak season suggest Singapore will be the top destination for Asia-Pacific travellers, Bangkok for Europeans, Madrid for Latin Americans and New York for North Americans.
In September, Thailand was back on the most searched destinations list worldwide, after an absence from the list in the second quarter of 2015.
The predictions were released by Sojern, a leading performance marketing platform for travel brands, in its Q3 Global Travel Insights report based on the analysis of more than a billion traveller intent data points across the globe.

For now, only 52% of North American early bookers are looking to travel alone this holiday season compared to 74% of all bookers last year.
