Vietjet receives its 30th aircraft

SINGAPORE - Vietjet’s 30th aircraft, the new A320 (coded VN-A664), landed last Friday at 18:00 (local time) at Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City after flying from Toulouse in France.

The aircraft is the eleventh of the milestone agreement between Vietjet and Airbus for acquiring and leasing 100 aircraft. With its advanced design of lowered fuel costs and CO2 emissions, the new aircraft is expected to boost the carrier’s efficiency and protect the environment.

“With the addition to the fleet, Vietjet is now operating 30 new A320s and A321s, helping the new-age airline to further expand its network in Vietnam and across the Asia-Pacific region,” said Mr. Luu Duc Khanh, Managing Director, Vietjet. “Passengers will experience the full suite of Vietjet’s high-quality services including comfortable seats, refreshing drinks and delicious meals served by our friendly flight attendants, and plenty of special surprises onboard.”
