MELBOURNE, Australia - Sabre Corporation, the leading technology provider to the global travel industry, announced that it has renewed a strategic agreement with APT Group. The long-term commitment includes customised Sabre solutions to help the luxury travel specialist scale its regional business.
APT’s Customer Service team is currently leveraging the online booking engine, Sabre Explore, which is adapted to meet their specific content, booking and fulfilment needs. The result is greater efficiency, reduced errors and an enhanced customer service experience. The renewed agreement now means Sabre will continue to strengthen APT’s workflows with the latest digital tools.
David Cox, executive general manager said, “The bespoke work undertaken by Sabre has made a fundamental difference to our business. We have renewed our agreement with Sabre because they have proven to be an innovative partner that works with us to find the best solutions to our business challenges.”
“Until recently, the Australia and New Zealand travel industry didn’t have this specific technology to support the local needs of tour operators, wholesale agents and agents with reservation call centres. We are proud to have addressed this gap in the market and with a custom solution for APT. Adoption is high and climbing which is great because it translates into new revenue opportunities for our partners,” said Richard Morgan, regional director for Sabre Travel Network, South Pacific.
Sabre Explore is a locally developed white label leisure online booking tool that connects APT reservation agents to over 400 airlines. Sabre Explore is available to all travel agents, tour operators and wholesale agents across Australia and New Zealand.
