Appointments announced for Business Events Sunshine Coast

Business Events Sunshine Coast (BESC) has announced two major appointments.

Tiffany Bower has been appointed as Business Events Manager after acting in the position over the past year. Tiffany replaces Pippa McCreery, who left BESC and the Sunshine Coast to relocate to Brisbane.

Michelle Burgum has been confirmed as Business Events Executive. She has been acting in the position on a temporary basis since July 2015, having joined BESC from one of the Sunshine Coast’s leading attractions, Australia Zoo.

The Sunshine Coast is experiencing its busiest-ever events and meetings calendar, with a new initiative – The World is Coming to the Sunshine Coast – attracting events from around the world as the region heads into the 50th anniversary of the naming of Sunshine Coast in 2017.

Business Events Sunshine Coast is the convention bureau for the Sunshine Coast. It operates as a dedicated unit within Visit Sunshine Coast, the regional tourism organisation for the Sunshine Coast. BESC is a not-for-profit, membership based organisation.
