Hanoi to build amusement park

HANOI Hanoi’s People’s Committee has approved a plan to build an amusement park named Kim Quy (Golden Turtle) saying the concept was inspired by Disneyland.
Local media reported the amusement park will be built on 198 hectares of land in Dong Anh district, Hanoi.
Hanoi’s People’s Committee chairman, Nguyen Duc Chung, said Kim Quy (Golden Turtle) Amusement Park was among 25 park projects that will be built in the capital city in over the next five years. Most of them a recreational areas for residents.
inside no 3He claimed the Kim Quy Amusement Park would be a modern theme park up to the standard of Disneyland in Hong Kong.
Disneyland theme parks are present in six countries; the US, France, Japan, Hong Kong, China, and the Bahamas.
Hanoi is set to welcome 21.2 million domestic and international tourists this year, up 6.95% from last year.
Of that total, 17.4 million are domestic travellers, while around 3.8 million are foreigners.
Both markets should generate an estimated USD2.68 billion in tourism revenue up 8.11% from last year.
