Media launch Phuket marathon

BANGKOK Go Adventure Asia is meeting the press, 14 March, to launch the 2017 Laguna Phuket Marathon, an international sports events endorsed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau.

Go Adventure Asia organises the annual event led by the company’s general manager Roman Fosser.

The launch media event will be attended by TAT director of events promotion, Apichai Chatchalermkit, of the Tourism Authority of Thailand; Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau director exhibitions and events Jaruwan Suwannasat, Laguna Phuket senior assistant vice president  Anthony Loh and  Floesser.

Celebrity Thai  TV host and sports enthusiast, Patcharasri Kalamare Benjamas, has already registered to run in the June race. He will MC the media event.

More than 7,000 athletes are expected to join the “Run Paradise” which is an important component of the 2017 Laguna Phuket Marathon scheduled for 3 to 4 June.

Laguna Phuket Marathon is one the premier events that have put Phuket on the sports tourism map attracting runners from more than 40 countries to compete annually.
