BERLIN China’s largest lifestyle service provider, Meituan-Dianping, will host a speed-dating event on the first day of ITB China, an inaugural trade show scheduled for Shanghai, 10 to 12 May.
The event will enable buyers to establish business links with Meituan-Dianping that has been developing its travel services since 2013.
With the synergy of its hotel, tourism and catering units, Meituan-Dianping aims at working with top-ranked travel service providers to become a one-stop full-service app for China’s consumers.
Through this one-to-one meeting platform, global destinations, travel service and technology providers from all over the world can engage in a conversation with Meituan-Dianping representatives to explore partnerships.

Meituan-Dianping, China’s largest lifestyle service provider, has around 600 million online users and 4.5 million partners, whose service covers around 2800 cities in China.
The company has been developing in the travel sector since 2013. Meituan-Dianping posted more than 130 million hotel room nights in 2016. The company sold 67 million attraction tickets during the time. Air tickets sold on the platform exceeded two million and train tickets topped eight million, according to data provided by the company.
Meituan-Dianping’s data reflect the continued robust growth of China’s outbound travel in 2017. The company’s apps draw hundreds of thousands of overseas users daily and its DaZhongDianPing app has become one of the most popular lifestyle service apps for Chinese nationals when they are overseas.
