BANGKOK Dusit International is set to expand its footprint with the opening of a property in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
The opening of DusitPrincesess Dhaka will mark the company’s first property in Bangladesh, under a long-term arrangement with a subsidiary of Lakeshore Hotels Limited.
Located in the north of the city, a five-minute car drive from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, the upper-midscale business hotel will open under Dusit’s newly developed franchising model.
Representatives from Dusit International and Lakeshore Hotels met in Dhaka to sign the agreement on 12 April 2017. The hotel will comprise of 80 rooms and 10 suites in a 13 floor building. The property features an all-day-dining restaurant, a Grab ‘n’ Go outlet, a meeting room, and recreational amenities such as a rooftop swimming pool.
The property is located only a short drive from major manufacturing sites and other key commercial districts.
