Best Western dives into Manado

BANGKOK Best Western Hotels & Resorts has unveiled its first property in Manado, the scuba diving and snorkelling destination on the northern tip of Sulawesi, Indonesia.

The new Best Western The Lagoon Hotel opened its doors 1 April. The hotel overlooks the Bay of Manado and island of Manado Tua.

It is also close to Manado’s main commercial and entertainment areas and a 45-minute drive from the city’s Sam Ratulangi International Airport.

Manado has been identified as one of Indonesia’s best dive spots especially Bunaken National Park, which lies in the “Coral Triangle” and is home to thousands of colourful marine species.

On terra firma, visitors can enjoy soft adventure, including volcano trekking tours, white water rafting and visits to Tangkoko Batuangus Nature Reserve.

Best Western The Lagoon Hotel provides a collection of 187 rooms, all equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs with cable channels, mini-bars and other amenities.

Guests can enjoy local and international cuisines at the hotel’s restaurant, unwind in the spa, work out in the fitness centre, or take a plunge in the outdoor swimming pool.
