Minor opens AVANI in Lisbon

BANGKOK AVANI Avenida Liberdade Lisbon Hotel opened for business after rebranding under its new owners Minor Group.

The hotel, formerly known as the Tivoli Jardim Hotel, has undergone an extensive 1.5 million Euro refurbishment.

The hotel is located in a prime real estate district, only 15 minutes’ drive from Lisbon International Airport. It is also within walking distance of the Rossio underground train station and Tram 28.

“We are proud to launch our first European hotel in Lisbon,” said AVANI Hotels & Resorts group director, Alejandro Bernabe. “Lisbon is the perfect fit for the AVANI brand as it has an incredible sense of design and community and it is affordable”.

The extensive remake included the redesign of the façade, rooms, lobby, reception, the installation of an AVANIFIT gym and the relaunch of its well-known Olivier Restaurant.

The hotel’s 119 rooms come with all modern amenities including a Nespresso coffee maker, satellite TV, well-stocked mini-bar and high-speed Wi-Fi. All AVANI Premier, deluxe and family rooms have balconies and AVANI standard rooms have garden views.
