Jin Air to launch service to Bangkok and Macau this October.
JIN Air, the low-cost subsidiary of Korean Air, will begin its first international flights, 29 October, to Bangkok and Macau.
It will offer daily services to Bangkok and four weekly services to Macau, using 189-seat all-economy B737-800.
The Bangkok-bound flight, LJ001, departs Seoul 0800 and arrives in Bangkok at 1210. LJ002 departs Bangkok for Seoul at 1320.
The return fares quoted on the airline?s website start from US$256 for 15-day validity and US$529 for a one-year ticket. There is an additional surcharge of US$43.
Meanwhile, scheduled airlines operating nonstop flight between Bangkok-Seoul sells fares at approximately Bt18,500 including taxes and surcharges.
Jin Air charges extra for in-flight entertainment and food and beverages, but offers free water and juices.
In December, the airline plans to fly daily to Osaka, Japan, as well as Wei Hai, China.
