Visit Malaysia for FLORIA festival

Visitors to Malaysia in July should make sure they include a visit to Kuala Lumpur's waterfront area to experience the world class flower and garden show, FLORIA.

The popular show is gearing up for an expected 600,000 visitors in the park-like setting and will take place from 9andnbsp; 17 July. The theme of FLORIA 2011 will be Roses Are Forever.Highlights of this nine day horticultural spectacular include designer show gardens, over 200 daily activities and exhibitions from over 10 countries.

Floral carpets, living arches, alleys and avenues are in abundance and that's before you step inside the temperature controlled floral pavilion! Some of the sensual treats awaiting visitors include a Rose Tower, Rose Throne, Rose Dress Competition and Spa Gardenandnbsp; all set amidst a colourful tapestry of stunning cut flowers.If roses aren't your thing there will be plenty of other horticultural specimens on display including orchids (which Malaysia is famous for), bonsai, heliconia, hibiscus and topiary to name a few.
