Super Bikes Latest Langkawi Tourist Attraction

Super bike activities will be the latest draw to the duty free island of Langkawi.Tourism Malaysia's Kedah director Roslan Othman said super bike owners were affluent and would spend well during their trips, thereby profiting the tourist destination.

"Committment from government departments and private sector is needed to support the effort such as providing transportation facilities from the mainland," he told Bernama here Sunday.

He said Tourism Malaysia was confident biking would thrive judging by the success of the two-day International Charity Ride in conjunction with this year's Langkawi Geopark celebrations where 250 participants from Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia participated.
