The bed is key to a great hotel according to 65 percent of travellers from Hong Kong, however it’s not for the resting or the sexual activity but important as a dining location.
While watching movies and reading topped a Hotels.com survey of things to do in bed, 45 percent of people from Hong Kong would rather eat in their hotel bed, higher than the global average by 17 percent and the 35 percent who said it was an important asset for having sex.
Up to 70 percent of Hong Kong travellers were likely to complain if their mattress was too hard or too soft, while another 20 percent were irritated by few pilots as well as another 20 percent concerned over dirty sheets.Hong Kong travellers were also topped the survey for travellers preferring to sleep in the style of a starfish, along with people from China and Korea.
Europeans on the other hand are more likely to opt for the log style of sleeping, which is on the side with both arms down. “When it comes to getting a good night’s sleep in a hotel, it is clear that it is not one size fits all,” Hotels.com global communications director Alison Couper said.andnbsp;
