Executives with Milanoo.com this week unveiled a company-sponsored sweepstakes geared toward drawing interest in China's tourism industry. In all, over $50,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to thirty randomly selected winners.

In a joint effort to bolster China's tourism industry and to share one of the country's national treasures – the giant panda – with the world, Milanoo.com is sponsoring a tourism sweepstakes. The sweepstakes, which kick off on June 22nd, will award more than $50,000 in cash and prizes to thirty randomly selected entrants.

Ten lucky grand prize winners will win a trip to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in the Sichuan Province of China. The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding prides itself on educational tourism and welcomes the opportunity to educate the public on one of China's most famous creatures. The Chengdu Research Base is a non-profit organization focused on research, captive breeding, conservation, education, and educational tourism. Founded in 1987 with just six pandas, the Chengdu Research Base is now home to more than 80 pandas and their offspring, with over 120 pandas having been born at the center since it opened.

The Chengdu Research Base sends experts to zoos and other locations housing pandas around the world to train and educate their handlers in the proper care and conservation of the animals. Presently, the base sits on 106 hectares with plans to expand to 200 hectares in the future. The Chengdu Research Base is also home to red pandas and a variety of other native Chinese flora and fauna. Each grand prize trip to the base is valued at $5,000.

In addition to the ten grand prize winners, Milanoo.com will treat 25 runners-up to a $100 shopping spree on the company's website. The runners up will receive a coupon, which will be good toward future purchases made through Milanoo.com.

"Everyone loves the giant panda, both in China and around the world; especially when Kung Fu Panda 2 hits the theatres in worldwide screens." explains Lee, director of this activity. "What better way to appreciate them than to visit China and see them in person? We are very excited to give people a chance at this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
