Foreign Visitors To Vietnam Rises By 18 Per Cent In First Half

Vietnam received nearly 447,000 foreign tourists in June, bringing the number of foreign arrivals to the country to almost 2.97 million in the first six months of the year, representing a year-on-year increase of 18.1 percent, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported.
According to statistics provided by the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, all tourism markets of the country showed increases.
Cambodia led the list with 77.4 percent, followed by China with 51.5 percent; Malaysia, 16.7 percent; Japan, 11.7 percent; France, 8.5 percent; Taiwan, 8 percent and Singapore, 7.8 percent.
