Lao Airlines has launched a Free and Easy package, ex- Bangkok and Chiang Mai, to its home-base Vientiane and Luang Prabang, a world heritage town in northern Laos.
The packages are three days and two nights inclusive of a roundtrip fare, accommodation with daily breakfast and roundtrip airport transfers. No sightseeing tours included.
From Bangkok, the Vientiane trip offers a choice of five hotels andndash; Lao Plaza Hotel (Bt10,000); Novotel and Don Chan Palace (Bt9,200); Ramayana Gallery and Lane Xang Hotel (Bt8,000).
The Luang Prabang trip has eight choices andndash;Muangthong Hotel, Villa Santi Resort, Vangthong Cultural and Chanthavinh Resort (Bt8,800) in the four-star category and Ramayana Boutique, Ban Lao Hotel, Luang Prabang Paradise and Bouluang Hotel (Bt8,500) in a three-star category.
From Chiang Mai, Lao Airlines flies to just Luang Prabang and the packages are priced at Bt8,200 for four-star hotels and Bt8,000 for stay at three-star hotels. (Listed above).
The price is based on double occupancy, but single occupancy is possible with a surcharge.
Lao Airlines operates twice daily flights from Bangkok to Vientiane and a daily service to Luang Prabang. From Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang, it operates six flights a week.
